Impediments to a Sustained Spiritual Practice and
How to Work with Them
Saturday, December 2nd
9:00 am – 4:30 pm
led by Floyd Fantelli,
leader of the Bozeman Insight Community
Whether your spiritual practice is Insight/Vipassana, Tibetan, Zen, Christian, or another tradition, a consistent practice allows us to deepen and strengthen our levels of clarity and understanding. This leads to the gradual fading away of greed, hatred and delusion and the unshakeable release of the heart and mind. During this daylong retreat we will explore nine impediments to a sustained and deepening practice and how to work with each of them. The format will be one of silent meditation (with guidance), talks and discussion. I was taught these by my teacher and am looking forward to sharing them and discussing them with you. Beginners as well as experienced practitioners are all welcome. No meditation experience is required.
Please bring your own lunch. Tea will be provided. Also please plan on attending for the entire day. It will be most beneficial to you.
“I think you will find these teachings beneficial to your meditation practice as well as daily life and relationships. I look forward to seeing you! May you all be well, happy and peaceful.”
– Floyd
