Saturday One-Day or Half-Day Retreats
These programs have live teachers and are offered for a sliding-scale suggested registration fee, but no one is ever turned away for lack of funds.
Impediments to a Sustained Spiritual Practice and
How to Work with Them
Saturday, December 2nd
9:30 am – 4:30 pm
led by Floyd Fantelli,
leader of the Bozeman Insight Community
Whether your spiritual practice is Insight/Vipassana, Tibetan, Zen, Christian, or another tradition, a consistent practice allows us to deepen and strengthen our levels of clarity and understanding. This leads to the gradual fading away of greed, hatred and delusion and the unshakeable release of the heart and mind. During this daylong retreat we will explore nine impediments to a sustained and deepening practice and how to work with each of them. The format will be one of silent meditation (with guidance), talks and discussion. I was taught these by my teacher and am looking forward to sharing them and discussing them with you. Beginners as well as experienced practitioners are all welcome. No meditation experience is required. Tea will be provided. Please bring your lunch.
