Essentials of Buddhism

Co-led by teachers in three different Buddhist lineages, this 6-session class will delve into many of the basic tenets and teachings of Buddhism. Appropriate for all levels of practitioners and students, from beginners to experienced. Each class will include meditation and study. There are two recommended books for this course: What the Buddha Taught by Walpola Rahula and The Heart of Buddha’s Teaching by Thich Nhat Hanh. Both of these books are available at Country Bookshelf.
Offered for a suggested donation per session:
Base rate: $10-15; Students/supportive rate: $5-10; Benefactor rate: $15-20
