“Mindfulness meditation is a way to make your entire life a flow state.”
— Ken Wilber, author The Integral Vision: A Very Short Introduction to the Revolutionary Integral Approach to Life, God, the Universe, and Everything.
Join Zen Teacher and Integral pioneer Diane Musho Hamilton for a weekend that will introduce Integral Mindfulness, a powerful approach to awareness that engages classic mindfulness practices in multiple dimensions of your life, on and off the cushion. Integral Mindfulness will help you to uncover the “hidden maps” by which you navigate your thoughts, your relationships, your choices. By giving those maps your attention, through mindfulness, you will loosen the grip of your habitual habits of mind and body – freeing you to experience the freedom and fullness of flow in all areas of your life.
This weekend is appropriate for both beginners and those with experience in meditation.
In this weekend you will:
-
Be introduced to mindfulness meditation as life-enhancing practice and spiritual discipline.
-
Discover why mindful awareness is the ground of transformational learning, and is integral to your adult development.
-
Learn how mindfulness is a “four-quadrant” affair, and can illuminate your core beliefs, assumptions, and stories for closer examination and testing.
-
Explore the brain science and physiology of mindfulness, and the positive effect of mindfulness practice on your cognition and emotions.
-
Engage in group practice, to experience how mindful communications generates more authentic connections with others, and opens the door to unify sameness and difference in one experiential stream.

Costs and The Practice of “Dana”
Weekend retreats at the Dharma Center have a 2-part “cost:” Because the teachings are considered priceless and are to be supported by Dana (a voluntary, anonymous offering of no specified amount) we ask that you make a Dana offering to the teacher, in gratitude and support of the teachings – as best fits your circumstances and brings you joy in giving.
Secondly, we ask a sliding-scale registration fee to cover Diane’s expenses and the cost of putting on the retreat. Scholarships are always available and no one is ever turned away for lack of funds. Please opt for the rate that best suits your circumstances:
Base Rate: $125
Student/Supportive Rate: $50 – 75
Sustaining Rate: $175
If you would like to ask for a scholarship, please email us and let us know, as part of your first step in registration.
To Register
Step 1: Please email registrations@BozemanDharmaCenter.org
and list “INTEGRAL WEEKEND” in the subject line.
You will receive a confirmation email through our automated system once we’ve read your email and placed you on the list (which may take a couple of days).
Step 2: Unless you have arranged other scholarship or payment plans with us over email, please either mail us or drop off your registration fee by check if you can. While we can take payments at the door, it helps to have as many people pre-paid as possible. Please write “INTEGRAL WEEKEND”” on the notation line of your check, as we have registration open for several events at this time.
We can take credit card information at the door if you’d prefer.
