led by Susan Blackwell Tate

With our limited practice time on Wednesday evenings, we don’t often have a chance to explore the how’s why’s and what’s of the practice.  So here is your chance to learn more.
On Saturday, October 1, from 9 a.m. to noon, I’m offering a three hour workshop.
With the help of a syllabus, discussion and assorted practices we will explore the ten steps, why and how they effect the body, mind and spirit, how you can utilize parts or all of this practice throughout your life, and a bit of history of both iRest® and Yoga Nidra.
 Cost: $35.00

Includes a recorded practice. Discounts available for Military, Seniors and Students on fixed incomes

About iREST®/Yoga Nidra

iRest® stands for Integrative Restoration  – a mindful practice brings you back again and again to a sense of peacefulness that is always present.

Based on ancient teachings of meditation, iRest® Yoga Nidra is an evidence based transformative practice that leads to psychological, physical and spiritual healing and well being. It provides you with tools to deeply relax, release stress, increase resiliency, improve your interpersonal relationships and provide you with greater mastery and control in your life as it nourishes noble qualities such as peacefulness, joy, empathy, forgiveness, patience and loving kindness toward yourself and others.

It is a guided meditation of self inquiry based on a 4000 year old practice, done lying down or comfortably seated.  It’s easy to do, no prior meditation experience necessary.  It is a research-based, transformative practice of deep relaxation and meditative inquiry that:

-Relaxes the mind, body and soul
-Releases negative emotions and thought patterns
-Calms the nervous system
-Helps you reconnect to the peace that is always present
-Develops a deep capacity to meet any and all circumstances you may encounter in life
