Half-day open practice session, for the whole community
Saturday, August 19th
Drop in between 9:00 am – 12 noon
We offer a half-day, open practice session on one Saturday per month, as the schedule allows. As with our drop-in sits at noon, volunteers will ring bells and be on hand if you need anything.
Come enjoy the support of shared practice.
Drop in for all or as much of this open practice period as you’d like. Feel free to come when you can, leave when you need to; joining mid-sit is perfectly fine.
The morning will be held in noble silence.
Please be sure not to wear fragrances or scented products. Thank you!
9:00 – 9:40 Silent sitting meditation
9:40 – 10:00 walking meditation, stretching (or “comfort break”)
10:00 – 10:40 sitting
10:40 – 11:00 walking/stretching
11:00 – 11:30 sitting
11:35 Guided Loving-Kindness or other meditation (bell ringer’s choice)
