Awareness of Emotions and Mental States

Saturday, June 23

9:45 am – 5:00 pm

led by Tempel Smith

The mind (and heart) are the forerunners of all experience, and for this it deserves careful attention and familiarity.  It is through the mind we process our experience of the world, and depending on which qualities of the mind are present we will have very different experiences.  During the day of practice we develop mindfulness of the breath and body as a foundation of awareness, and then turn our insight practice to the mind itself.

Schedule:
Friday, June 22: 7 – 9 pm (also open to the public as a stand-alone evening)
Saturday, June 23: 9:45 am – 5:00 pm

Friday evening is required for those continuing on Saturday.

Offered for a sliding scale fee:

Base: $50-$60, Supportive: $15-$45, or Benefactor: $65-$90

This is an event during the summer practice period.  For other practice period offerings, click here.
