Cultivating the Empty Field

The Silent Illumination of Zen Master Hongzhi

Half-day retreat with Karen DeCotis and the Bozeman Zen Group

Saturday, February 5
9AM – 1PM
Boyd Room, Pilgrim Congregational & ONLINE

“A person of the Way fundamentally does not dwell anywhere. The white clouds are fascinated with the green mountain’s foundation. The bright moon cherishes being carried along with the flowing water. The clouds part and the mountain appears. The moon sets and the water is cool. Each bit of autumn contains vast interpenetration without bounds.” -Hongzhi, Practice Instructions

This day of practice is based on the book of the same name by Taigen Dan Leighton. This is a great way to get the feel for retreat practice and still have part of your weekend! No formal registration, but please email info@bozemanzengroup.org by Feb 1 if you are coming in person, so we have all Covid measures in place. A $15 donation for the day to the Bozeman Zen Group is appreciated.
