Dependent Origination

A class for Experienced Students
led by Tempel Smith

May 29, June 5 and 12
7:00 – 8:45 pm

Considered the highest teaching the Buddha offered, Dependent Origination describes the workings of karma, emptiness, non-self, conditionality, why we are stuck in samsara and how we truly break free. Yet very few students in North America have the opportunity to study these teachings, especially from a practice and experiential dimension.  During these three classes we will have a chance to explore Dependent Origination as it arises in our daily lives and how to use these teachings to break free of these imprisoning mental patterns.

Registration for this series will be available over the BDC website mid-April.
Note: “Experienced Students” are those who have attended at least two residential retreats of 5 or more nights, in any Buddhist lineage.
