Everyone is invited to sit together in the protection of the ennobling sangha and connect with one another after the turn of events in the country and the world. We will gather in a circle to speak, and/or listen to our feelings, thoughts, experiences with others in a safe, open, and non-judgmental environment. This is not just to address political events and can include the Standing Rock situation, personal experiences around racism, sexual orientation, incidents of oppression and incidents of joy and sharing actions of people making a difference.
All are invited, friends who do not come to the BDC or do. Let’s connect to the greater sangha in holding space and practice deep listening for ourselves and one another.

“If we meet together in harmony and respect,
if we care for the vulnerable among us,
tend to the environment and respect our citizens and neighbors,
we will thrive and prosper.
A strong and stable society arises through
mutual
generosity, not gross inequity.”
