A Quarterly Offering of the Insight Community
with Suzanne Colón
Tuesday, July 23 7:00–8:30 pm
Everyone is welcome to this nuts-and-bolts discussion of the Insight meditation practice.
This session will clarify the tool of “mental noting” or labeling, which uses the discursive mind to track moment-to-moment awareness of sensory experience. Noting tends to calm the thinking mind and enlist its help to stay present.
Come try it and build your meditation tool kit!
This workshop will include: clear instruction, meditation, Q&A and discussion.
Great for newcomers, relative beginners and anyone wanting more clarity in their meditation practice. Bring your questions! No prior registration or experience necessary.
Offered for a suggested donation per session:
Base rate: $10-14; Students/supportive rate: $5-9; Benefactor rate: $15-20
If your circumstances do not allow you to make a contribution, please enjoy the class free of charge with our blessings.
