The Art of Mudita:
Borrowing Joy to Increase Your Own

Sunday June 6
10 – 11:30 AM Mountain Time

ONLINE with Tuere Sala

Workshop Description

Tuere will lead us in an exploration of “borrowed joy,” the practice of enlivening the heart by taking in delight from the myriad sources around us. The session will include a short dharma talk, guided meditation, and Q&A with the group. Tuere’s relatable, engaging style brings the traditional practice alive with warmth, heart, and radiant joy.

Appropriate for both new and experienced meditators. Hosted jointly by the Bozeman Dharma Center and the Butte Insight Sangha. Offered by a sliding scale and no one turned away for lack of funds. Please join us!

About Tuere

Tuere Sala Tuere Sala is a guiding teacher of Seattle Insight Meditation Society and Capitol Hill Meditation Group. She has over 25 years of Buddhist meditation experience and is currently a participant in IMS’s 2017-2021 Teacher Training Program. Her teaching focus is on strengthening the value of everyday urban practice. Tuere believes that urban meditation is the foundation for today’s practitioner’s path to liberation. She is inspired by bringing the Dharma to nontraditional places and is a strong advocate for practitioners living with high stress, past trauma and difficulties sitting still. Her teachings reflect an approach to Dharma that is both easy to follow and understand – making it accessible to everyone. Learn more about Tuere and her offerings here.
