taught by Floyd Fantelli
leader of the Bozeman Insight Community

 Dickens

Most of you are familiar with Charles Dickens’ “Christmas Carol” and Ebenezer Scrooge, a man who lived a lonely, bitter life- just the way he liked it! But something strange happens one enchanted night that helps Scrooge open his eyes and his heart to the people and the world around him.

We will practice Mindfulness/insight meditation in the morning (instructions will be given –beginners welcome) using both sitting and walking meditation. In the afternoon we will watch “The Christmas Carol” movie, and, using discussion points, explore the Buddha’s teachings on Greed, Hatred and Ignorance, as it related to this classic story.

“I hope you will join me. A wonderful way to prepare for the holidays!”   -Floyd
