Refugee Welcome Kit Drive
BDC is a collection site for Gallatin Refugee Connections Refugee Welcome Kit Drive. We have opted to collect items for their Kitchen Kits. Read more about the drive below (source: Gallatin Refugee Connections)
This March, Gallatin Refugee Connections —in cooperation with Soft Landing Missoula, Lutheran Family Services (LFS), and the International Rescue Committee (IRC)— is sponsoring a collection drive to help refugee families start new lives in Missoula and Billings.
Most refugees arrive with next to nothing—sometimes just the clothes on their backs. These items will help get them started in their new lives and speed their integration into the community. Soft Landing, LFS, and IRC give them a start, and we mean to help! We are collecting household goods to set up newly-arrived families. You can help! Team up with friends to donate an entire room kit, or just donate an item or two. All donations are tax deductible.
Tax-deductible donations are welcome at: https://softlandingmissoula.org or help.rescue.org/donate/us-missoula-mt or gallatinrefugeeconnections.org.
