November 30 @ 7:00 pm - 8:30 pm

Remembrance Day for Lost Species

Monday, November 30
7-8:30PM

This year, Joining Rivers Sangha hosts the annual offering of 108 bell rings led by Meg Hollingsworth on international Remembrance Day for Lost Species (also known as Lost Species Day). All are invited! This year’s practice will include sitting and walking, 108 bell rings, and dharma sharing. Urban trees will be honored. Participants are invited to bring photos, parts of storm damaged or felled trees, artwork, and stories of joy and/or sorrow. The practice of 108 bell rings is thought to clear the 108 human vexations, bringing forth joy.

Space is limited to 40 persons. Please let us know of your intention to attend by responding here.
