Somatic Practice Morning

9:00 am – 12:00 pm
This morning will offer three guided, somatic practices for you to experiment with ways of embodying awareness.
9:00 – Streaming of Reggie Ray from Dharma Ocean. Includes: 10-Points Body Practice, Earth Breathing and Opening the Heart
10:00 – Guided Body Scan (SN Goenka style): directs awareness methodically through the body
11:00 – Deeply Embodied Awareness: tracks the natural flow of sensory experience (also known as“Choiceless Awareness” in the Insight meditation practice)
These three 45-minute sits begin on the hour followed by stretching/break for 15 minutes.
Join us for all or as much of this open practice period as you’d like. Due to the guided practices, we prefer that you come and go during the breaks if possible.
The morning is designed for anyone to come enjoy the warmth of shared practice and experiment with new meditations. No prior experience of any kind is necessary. Participants are also welcome to ignore the guidance offered and do whatever practice they might prefer, as in a normal drop-in silent sit.
Offered for suggested donation of $10-$30; no one turned away for lack of funds.
The morning will be held in noble silence.
