Creating Calm Within Chaos
How Meditation Develops Resilience, Ease and Wisdom
with IMS & Spirit Rock teacher
Vance Pryor
Friday, April 7
7 – 9 PM
Insight meditation is the simple and direct practice of moment-to-moment mindfulness. Through clear and sustained observation, we can gain insight into the mind/body process and learn to navigate our reactions and emotions more wisely.
As insight deepens, we develop :
-
- greater resilience in the face of adversity,
- equanimity and ease in the face of change,
- and calm in the midst of chaos.
Wisdom and compassion increasingly become the guiding principles of our lives.
This evening is appropriate for all levels of mindfulness or meditation experience. We ask for prior registration due to limited in-person seating. Zoom options are available.
Don’t forget to check out the daylong retreat Vance will be doing on Saturday, April 8!
