Joining Rivers is studying Creating True Peace: Ending Violence in Yourself, Your Family, Your Community, and the World by Thich Nhat Hahn and MindSpace is studying Jon Kabat-Zinn’s book Wherever You Go, There You Are. You do not need to attend all of the sessions or own the books to gain great insight from these meetings. All welcome!

Metta Christmas

Our annual tradition of taking time for quiet reflection on Christmas continues. Join us from 4-5 PM on Sunday, December 25 for the gift of shared practice during this silent, drop-in sit. All welcome.

Annual Appeal Update

Thank you to the 45 donors who have helped us raise $9430 toward our goal of $20,000! Our annual appeal provides almost a quarter of our operating budget. We can’t do it without you! You can contribute through our donation page under the Giving Tab. You can also contribute through Venmo by scanning the QR code below. Any amount is helpful and appreciated!

Dana Paramita is a fundamental Buddhist practice. It encourages us to be as generous as possible in support of three facets of life: generosity of resources, generosity of time and attention, generosity of sharing the Dharma. Your financial support will make a meaningful difference for maintaining our new home.

Winter Solstice Celebration

Come share candlelight, poetry, and practice to welcome back the sun during this in-person ceremony on Wednesday December 21 from 6-7 PM. No registration required. This event is in-person only. There will be activities for children!

Our Annual Appeal is Underway

We know you hear a lot of requests for financial support at this time of year and hope you consider the Bozeman Dharma Center when you make your end of year giving. Ordinary Moments: An Intro to Insight Dialogue

Join us for this weekend retreat on November 11-13 for an introduction to the six simple guidelines of Insight Dialogue. An interpersonal meditation practice that weaves together three elements — each powerful in itself — the cultivation of meditative awareness, the wisdom teachings of the Buddha (dharma), and the power of our natural relatedness. The retreat is meant for both new and experienced practitioners of Insight Dialogue. More information can be found here.
